I have known Deanna for several years, ever since Hancock College was lucky enough to engage her as an instructor for the vocal performance classes, and the AHC Choir (in collaboration with the San Luis Chamber Orchestra) was lucky enough to feature her as soprano soloist in the Pergolesi Magnificat, the Beethoven Mass in C, and November 2013 performances of Carmina Burana. Hers is a stellar vocal talent, because she can do it all: classical, jazz, the American songbook, and anything else you care to name. I think this is one of the loveliest voices I have ever heard.
